National Mid Term CME of SOII, India

Successfully conducted National Mid Term CME of SOII, India, first time in MP at Bhopal. More than 230 participants including trade.

Orations - 7th June 2026

The IRIA Indore Branch successfully conducted the prestigious Dr. M.S. Dwivedi Oration and Prof. O.P. Tiwari Oration this year with enthusiastic participation from radiologists of the local branch as well as nearby regions.

The event marked the commencement of the Prof. O.P. Tiwari Oration series and witnessed an excellent academic gathering, promoting knowledge sharing and professional interaction among radiologists.

The Dr. M.S. Dwivedi Oration was delivered by  on the topic “AI in Radiology.” The lecture highlighted the evolving role of artificial intelligence in radiological practice and its future implications in medical imaging and diagnostics.

The Prof. O.P. Tiwari Oration was delivered by  on the topic “First Trimester Neurosonography.” The session provided valuable academic insights into early fetal neurosonographic evaluation and its clinical significance.

The program was attended by a large number of radiologists from the IRIA local branch and neighboring areas, making the event academically enriching and highly successful.

The IRIA Indore Branch extends sincere appreciation to the esteemed speakers, organizing committee members, and all participants for contributing to the success of the event.

REPORT: FETAL EDGE 2026 – CME ON FETAL IMAGING ON 20-22 MARCH 2026

Overview
FETAL EDGE 2026 was a three-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) program focused on advanced fetal imaging, on 20-22 march 2026. The event was successfully conducted in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, at SAIMS, in association with the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA). The CME brought together leading experts and radiologists from across India to discuss recent advances, practical approaches, and challenging cases in fetal imaging.

41st Annual Conference of IRIA MP Chapter 2025

The 41st Annual Conference of the IRIA Madhya Pradesh State Chapter was successfully held on 3–4 January 2026 at Hotel Sayaji, Indore, and proved to be a landmark academic and professional event for the chapter.

The conference was conducted under the esteemed patronage of Dr. O. P. Tiwari and Dr. S. Shivram.

Dr. R. K. Sodani is serving as the Chairman of the Reception Committee. The event was ably led by Dr. Manish Bhagat and Dr. Nitika Benjamin, Organising Chairpersons, with support from Dr. Santosh Gandhi, Co-Organising Chairman.

The secretariat was efficiently managed by Dr. Prem Tripathi and Dr. Abhijeet Taori, Organising Secretaries, along with Dr. Rajkumari Rawat, Treasurer, and Dr. Gurdeep Chhabra and Dr. Gaurav Bhandari, Co-Organising Secretaries.

The Scientific Committee, chaired by Dr. Sudheer Gokhale, with members Dr. Shweta Nagar and Dr. Varsha Sodani, curated a rich and diverse academic program.

For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, the conference featured two parallel scientific halls, hands-on cardiac and fetal workshops, and an engaging live quiz session. The event witnessed record registrations of over 300 delegates and the largest trade participation in the history of IRIA MP state conferences.

Raksha Initiative

As part of the Raksha Initiative, Dr Shweta Nagar, Dr Nitika Benjamin, and Dr Kirti Chaturvedi organized a meaningful community outreach program that included breast cancer awareness, emphasizing the importance of early detection and regular screening, along with tree plantation and the donation of a printer to a government school, promoting environmental responsibility and strengthening access to digital education for students.

Unlocking the Secrets of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound society of India Hosts Groundbreaking Conference in Indore at Sri Aurobindo institute of medical sciences*
Indore witnessed a convergence of medical brilliance as the Musculoskeletal ultrasound society of India orchestrated a pioneering conference on musculoskeletal ultrasound on  2nd , 3rd , 4th may 2025. Held at a SAIMS Indore, the event drew esteemed experts from around the globe, alongside distinguished national and international faculty, to delve into the intricacies of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Dr Vinod Bhandari was Organizing Chairman and Dr Manish Bhagat was Organizing Co-Chairman. Dr Gurdeep Chhabra, Dr Harish Chhabra , Dr Pramod Bapna , were the Organizing Secretaries, Dr Rajkumari Rawat was local Organizing Secretory Dr. OP Tiwari wast he Guest of Honour.

The conference boasted an impressive international faculty,  Dr Helen Gharaei renowned for her contribution to the field of pain management in ultrasound . Dr Bipin  Shah , Dr. Mohit shah, Dr. Nidhi Bhatnagar, Dr. Ankit Shah Dr. Rajas Chaubal, graced the event with their expertise, illuminating attendees with the latest advancements in MSK ultrasound.

The musculoskeletal ultrasound society  conference in Indore not only showcased the cutting-edge developments in MSK ultrasound but also fostered a community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of medical excellence. As the echoes of knowledge reverberate from this monumental gathering, the future of musculoskeletal ultrasound shines brighter than ever before. Anchoring of the Whole event and workshop was conducted by Dr. Rajkumari Rawat.

The Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology, National Conference, ISPR 2025

The Indian society of pediatric radiology National Conference, ISPR 2025 ,  held at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore, from 19–21 September 2025, was an exceptional academic gathering that truly upheld the standards of pediatric radiology.3 days of high-quality pediatric radiology lectures by experts from India and abroad.

The leadership team comprised Dr. R.K. Sodani as Organizing Chairman, Dr. Abhijeet Taori as Organizing Secretary, and Dr. Rajkumari Rawat as the Treasurer.
The inaugural session saw the presence of ISPR National President Dr. Bijoy Kundu and Secretary Dr. Shridhar Gibikote. Distinguished dignitaries included Chief Guest Dr. O.P. Tiwari , (past vice president national IRIA )and Guest of Honour Dr. Pushpraj Bhatele, (past national president IRIA).

The lamp-lighting ceremony was a collective moment led by Dr. Manish Bhagat state president IRIA, Dr. Shweta Nagar Scientific chairman of the conference, the organizing team, the national ISPR leadership, and the honoured guests.
The venue– Brilliant Convention Centre, provided an excellent environment with state-of-the-art facilities, making the learning experience comfortable and seamless. Overall, the ISPR 2025 conference stood out as a well-organized, academically enriching, and truly memorable event that contributed significantly to the growth and advancement of pediatric radiology in the Madhya pradesh.

Women's Day 2025

As the theme for this women’s day 2025 is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women, we talked about the bone health for women/ on osteoporosis , to encourage “equality in terms of strength”!!

We educated the female staff ,and patients about osteoporosis,  under the banner of IRIA, and in collaboration with sri aurobindo institute of medical sciences indore, in dept of Radiodiagnosis, on 8th March 2025. we  did dexa scans for females in 50% rates than the usual, usg and mammography of female patients free of cost.wore white color as representation of osteoporosis  awareness.also  distributed calcium and vit d to the females,  after the talk, for spreading awareness regarding osteoporosis.

An interactive session on "Well being in Radiology - Preventing burnout with practical strategies"

An interactive session and Lecture by International speaker Dr. Rajesh Khujneri ,from Australia ,on the significant issue of “Well being in Radiology- Preventing burnout with practical strategies” which is highly common in the Radiology fraternity  was organised by IRIA state and Indore chapter in association with Department of Radiodiagnosis, sri aurobindo institute of Medical Sciences, Indore  on 14th  February ,lotus hall, Sri Aurobindo university. The event witnessed the participation of  delegates ,faculties , Residents, students.

 

Mid-Term CME and Workshop on Women’s Health and Reproductive Imaging

The IRIA State and Indore Chapter, in association with the Department of Radiodiagnosis, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore, successfully organized the Mid-Term CME and Workshop on Women’s Health and Reproductive Imaging on 16th February at C.P. Tiwari Auditorium, Sri Aurobindo University.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 160 delegates, fostering insightful discussions and learning opportunities.
